Mass Bay Girls Lacrosse League (MBGLL) is a Sunday afternoon recreational program located in Eastern Massachusetts. We organize and operate a program for more than 8,000 young girls' lacrosse players. In 2014 we will have 88 different towns represented with over 400 teams in 1st through 8th grade. MBGLL started the MBGLL Select League during the 2010-2011 season to offer U13 and U15 players the opportunity to compete at a higher level of competition on their town's team. Our mission is to promote girls' youth lacrosse in an environment that emphasizes fun, while developing skills, teamwork, good sportsmanship, and integrity.
The 2015 MBGLL schedule is now live on the MBGLL website. All changes requested by the 3/22 deadline have been made to the MBGLL site. Officials will start to be assigned to games shortly.
Going forward only minor changes will be made. These include small time changes and field changes due to weather. We understand that many fields will be opening later than normal and will do our best to move games around as needed. If a game change is needed:
1) Confirm with opponent
2) Home team send changes to email@example.com
3) Please send changes in the following format
Date of Game:
Once we get closer to the start of the season I will send out instructions and deadlines regarding when changes need to be made within the season.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Have a great season!!

MBGLL is pleased to announce that we are returning to Harvard for their Youth Day. This is a fantastic team-bonding day with your players. Some teams will play games on Harvard’s fields in the morning. All players and teams are invited to the rest of the festivities:
1p – Players are invited for pizza and to listen to the Positive Coaching Alliance’s Triple Impact Athlete session. Parents are invited to listen to the Positive Coaching Alliance’s Double-Goal Parent session at the same time. Then, everyone will head into the stadium to cheer on Harvard’s Crimson Women’s team as they play a game. (FYI, Harvard’s men’s team is playing a game at 12p.) After the game, players are invited onto the field to get autographs signed by Harvard’s women’s lacrosse team. This is always a fabulous day for the players so please join us for this complimentary event.
As you all know, we are actively working on the season’s recreational schedules now. All town administrators participate in the process to make the schedules the best that they can be. Schedules should be posted and finalized by March 22.
Let’s all keep thinking about lacrosse as we brace for the next round of snow storms. Spring is on its way!

We have some terrific coaches and trainers lined up to share their knowledge and skills with you. To register, go to www.mbgll.org and click on “individual registrations.” Or click New England Convention.
As a benefit to our member towns, we have created a $5 discount off of their registration fees. Please ask your coaches/attendees to enter MBGLL's discount code when they register. (Discount codes must be applied at the time of registration.) If you don't have the discount code that was emailed to our towns, please contact your division director. A portion of the proceeds from this convention will go to MBGLL so please support this inaugural New England Convention. Space is limited. Early bird discounts apply if you register by January 15.
